Lee Okan is a writer and scholar. Her work has appeared in Nixes Mate Review and Papercut Magazine. Her novel, The Lives of Atoms, was published by Nixes Mate Books in 2018.
She teach creative writing, literature (comics and children’s literature), media and visual communication, and first-year writing, in the Boston area.
Her research focus includes comics and visual communication, the representation of trauma (sexual assault and suicide) in fiction, and Virginia Woolf.
